About ProductSaver

General Processing Systems, Inc. has been manufacturing product recovery and recycling equipment for over 30 years. The ProductSaver system is used in a wide variety of industries to recover product from off-spec packaging, returned goods, out of date products, and other situations where the product needs to be removed from the packaging. Systems are designed to remove the packaging from powders, flakes, granular products, solids, and liquids. Complete systems or system components are offered to assist our customers.

In addition to reclaim equipment, ProductSaver manufactures bag opening systems. Our automated bag openers eliminate ergonomic concerns with the manual opening of bags while increasing production. Typical bag opening rates are up to 20 bags per minute. For companies opening a small number of bags, our bag dump station with dust collection is available. Bag compaction is available for empty bag collection.

Conveying equipment and rotary sifting drums are manufactured and used with our reclaim and bag opening equipment, or as component items. Collection totes and tanks are manufactured for product collection.

All systems are engineered and manufactured at our location in Oswego, Illinois. CAD drawings are provided to assist our customers and show equipment layout.

ProductSaver provides on site evaluation of your reclaim or bag opening requirements. Based on this evaluation a system can be customized for your product and needs.
